Wannabe A Wallaby

Wannabe a Wallaby? This was the catch cry amongst my friends when we were growing up in Australia.
Rugby Union is one of the football codes played in Australia and the Wallabies are the national team. Thousands of boys grow up dreaming of being a Wallaby or to play for one of the provincial sides, especially the Queensland reds.
The Reds and the Brumbies have won Super Rugby titles and the Wallabies have won two world cups and are the Current Tri-Nations Champions.
Every four years the best teams in the world compete for the William Webb-Ellis trophy in the Rugby World Cup, and while New Zealand are the current holders of this trophy, the most successful team at the tournament is Australia who are represented by the Wallabies.
The Queensland Reds are the current Super 15 Champions. Many believe this is the toughest provincial competition in the world. There are three conferences of five teams from South Africa, New Zealand and Australia.
Queensland are hoping their young team can kick on and create a dynasty.
